LORRAINE
PRIVATE CELLAR
|
|

|
|
Lorraine
Wine Farm has been in the De Wet Family for five generations. The first
vines were planted in 1870 and the winery was build in 1875. Situated
in the far Western corner of the fertile Goudini Region, now part of
the Breedekloof Wine Region, the cellar at Lorraine lies cradled by the
statuesque Du Toitskloof Mountains.
|
| The close proximity of the
mountains, the crystal clear rivers that flow from them and the long
shadows of the early afternoon, combine to create a unique cool climate
that is ideally suited to the production of wine of exceptional quality.
