On auction for the first time, the name of this farm came about when new owner, Patrick Pols, arrived at the property and counted seven Oak trees in the driveway, prompting his wife Jacqui to name the farm over the phone,  Seven Oaks.  A while later, when Jacqui visited the farm for the first time, there were only six Oaks.  A seventh was immediately planted, giving rise to the unique logo used.

Seven Oaks is situated in the smog-free Breede River Valley and falls under the Breedekloof region. The grapes are tasted and hand selected.  The wine is tasted and approved by both Patrick and Jacqui before bottling.

Theatre Under the Tanks:

Seven Oaks along with Waboomsrivier Wine Cellar during the Breedekloof festivals (Soetes & Soup in July and Outdoor & Wine in October), bring in top artists to perform shows 'Under the Tanks'.

Theatre-goers sit theatre style in front of the stage during the performance, thereafter tables are laid out and a meal is served with cash bar available.

These shows are sold out well prior to each event and have proven very popular with a big demand for more shows in the future.
