Self Catering:

Nestled in the magnificent Slanghoek Valley lies the Slanghoek Mountain Resort. We have 7 fully equipped self-catering chalets of different sizes, 6 of them with inside braais and 13 self-catering safari tents each with en-suite shower and toilets. All this is situated under a century old oak tree forest. We have two swimming pools, trampoline and jungle jim for the kids. For the walking enthusiasts we have an hour walk to a lookout point which has a spectacular view of the whole Slanghoek Valley.

Camping:

We have 12 camp sites situated between the vineyards on our wine farm. There is a swimming pool, trampoline, jungle jim and a small stream running through the camping area. We have wooden huts each with a shower and toilet which is shared by maximum two sites.

Wedding and conference:

We have a conference facility that can take from 10 to 200 people depending on the seating arrangements. For weddings with a small dance space we can fit 120 guests. Our chapel can only take 64, but we can have a ceremony at our lapa for maximum 100 guests.

PLATBOS LOG CABINS

Three secluded and private log cabins overlooking a large dam in the Slanghoek Valley.

Vehicles with high clearance only.

Each log cabin has an open-plan kitchen and living area. Two bedrooms each have queen size beds and there is a loft with two single beds. Shower and toilet. Gas, solar and battery power only. No open fires permitted, gas braai provided on the verandah.
